SOUNDBITE (English) Daniel Ricciardo, Australia driver with Red Bull Racing's Formula One team:

(On being back in Melbourne after the drama of last year's podium controversy)

"It's good to be back. Last year some mixed emotions, but it's nice. Ready to get the season going for starters. It's cool that it happens here at home. I got a taste of the podium last year, but this year I'd love to taste it again, but keep that taste in my mouth a little longer."

SOUNDBITE (English) Daniel Ricciardo, Australia driver with Red Bull Racing's Formula One team:

(On how he will handle his second season with Red Bull)

"Everyone was asking questions, can I be up to Seb's (Sebastian Vettel) pace, can I get on the podium and all that and I feel I answered a lot of the questions. This year I proved what I am capable of and it's just a matter of hoping that we've got the equipment and that I'm in the right state of mind to do it."

SOUNDBITE (English) Daniel Ricciardo, Australia driver with Red Bull Racing's Formula One team:

(On if he can back up his breakthrough campaign this year)

"Within myself I can't see any reason why I would not be as good as last year and I just feel I need to keep on building on what I did. No need to change too much, obviously it worked. Not like I'm getting complacent or anything, but just keep chipping away and keep building on what I know already."

SOUNDBITE (English) Daniel Ricciardo, Australia driver with Red Bull Racing's Formula One team:

(On no longer having Sebastian Vettel as his team-mate)

"I'll always focus on myself and look to myself first and do what I can do best. After that you can always lean on your team-mate and learn some new tricks. Danny (Daniil Kvyat) seems pretty unfazed by it all, which is good. He's settling in well to a top team so should be fun."
