Serbia are into the Davis Cup quarter-finals after Novak Djokovic and Nenad Zimonjić overcame Croatians Marin Draganja and Franko Škugor 6-3 6-4 6-1 to take an unassailable 3-0 lead.

It was the first doubles win for Serbia in four matches and they'll now face either Brazil or Argentina in the last four.

After Viktor Troicki's gruelling five-set win over Borna Coric, Djokovic was called up as a last-minute replacement.

The world number one was the decisive factor early on as he rattled off this ace to take the opening set.

The Serbs suffered a scare in the second when Djokovic was treated for a blister on his right hand.

The 3,000-strong partisan crowd were relieved to see the Australian Open champion back on his feet and Djokovic rewarded their support with another ace to claim set point.

Serbian then triumphed in the third to remain on course for their first Davis Cup title in five years.
