    Belgium won the doubles on Saturday (7th March) to go 2-1 up on Switzerland in their Davis Cup World Group first round clash in Liege.

    Script:

    Davis Cup holders Switzerland took on Belgium on Saturday in the doubles in Liege.

    The Swiss champions were likely to struggle in the tie without star duo Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka...

    However, Michael Lammer and Adrien Bossel won the first set from Belgium's Ruben Bemelmans and Davis Cup newbie Niels Desein, 6-1.

    The Belgiums roared back, taking the second 6-3.

    The pair were then able to hold on to the momentum, taking the third 6-2,
    ...and in the fourth and final set Lammer's return dropped long to give Belgium victory over the current Davis Cup holders, 1-6. 6-3. 6-2. 6-2.

    This means the Belgium team go two - one up agianst the Swiss.
