    Victory for Andy Murray and James Ward on Friday (March 6) gives Great Britain a 2-0 lead in the first round of the Davis Cup.

    It's the first time Andy Murray's played in Scotland for four years, facing American's Donald Young in the first round of the Davis Cup.

    Murray, currently world number five in the rankings dropped only five points in seven service games in the first two sets of the tie.

    The scotsman delivered on expectations, giving Great Britain a 1-0 lead in the opening match of the 20th Davis Cup.

    He won 6-1, 6-1, 4-6, 6-2 in front of his home crowd.

    Next up was 111th ranked James Ward, who was also having a good day on the tennis court.

    He caused a big upset, coming back from two sets down to beat 20th-ranked American John Isner,

    The match lasted almost five hours, helping Britain with a 2 nil victory over the United States in the first round.

    Britain is on course to beat the U.S. team for the second straight year at this stage in the World Group.
