Ricardo Goulart scores all three goals for Fabio Cannavaro's Guangzhou Evergrande as they win 3-2 at Western Sydney Wanderers in the Asian Champions League.

    Script:

It's fair to say this was the biggest game of Asian Champions League so far this season, defending champions Western Sydney Wanderers up against Guangzhou Evergrande.

The Chinese side looked likely to avenge their defeat in last year's quarter-final when they took the lead in the 18th minute thanks to new signing Ricardo Goulart....

Perhaps a spot of luck for the new man though as his initial effort might have been going wide. Not that Fabio Cannavaro will care.

He would be concerned about this after the break though, an equaliser for the home side...

Iacopo la Rocca with his second goal in as many games.

They would be level for less than two minutes. Goulart with his second, this time in front of the incredible number of away fans who had made the trip to Parramatta.

And they would be jumping up and down again six minutes later as the former Cruzeiro man rounded off his hat-trick.

There would be 17 minutes of stoppage time added in this game, mostly because of this... Guangzhou goalkeeper Zeng Cheng strechered off after that clash with Kim Yong-gwon.

Wanderers gave themselves hope thanks to a goal in the fifth minute of added time through Romeo Castelen... But Cannavaro's men held on to go top of Group H.
