The clock was ticking down in a Spanish ACB League game between Bilbao Basket and Laboral Kutxa Baskonia, with the home side leading comfortably.

Tornike Shengelia of Baskonia then made contact with Dejan Todorovic of Bilbao after the referee had blown the whistle for travelling.

Todorovic took issue and pushed Shengelia.

Shengelia retaliated by throwing a punch at Todorovic, with a mass brawl ensuing.

Ilimane Diop clearly unhappy with what just happened and he's led away

After the melee was over, officials reportedly ejected Shengelia and all players from both benches, for participating in the fight.

Before leaving the arena, Georgian forward Shengelia comforted a young boy who was sitting close to where the fighting had occurred.

Bilbao went on to win 93-75.
