SOUNDBITE (English) Garry Monk, Swansea City manager (on Tottenham's League Cup final defeat by Chelsea):

"I would love to think that it had dented their confidence, but I am pretty sure that they will want a good reaction. Top players and top teams generally do that, so we will prepare for the best Tottenham side. That's how we have been doing it over the past couple of days and, obviously, tomorrow (Tuesday) as well leading up to the game. So, we will prepare for the best Tottenham side and a fully-focused Tottenham side for sure."

SOUNDBITE (English) Garry Monk, Swansea City manager (on Harry Kane):

"(He is) a fantastic player. What a season he has had. A real handful. He can do everything. He can run behind. He can hold up the play. He can have that individual quality to beat players so I think his progression this season - it has actually been very good looking from the outside watching him. He is an exciting player. I'm sure that his fans have been so excited with him this season. He has been great value for money and he is entertaining. He has scored goals. He is a handful - something that we have to prepare for and something that we have to be aware of but I am sure it is a challenge that my defenders will be looking forward to - is to play against the best players in the league. And to test themselves. And that's hopefully what my defenders can do on Wednesday night."

SOUNDBITE (English) Garry Monk, Swansea City manager:

"Obviously, I have a close relationship with Ashley (Williams). Obviously, we played together. I use him as the captain to be a good voice and put the right messages across and work closely with him and with his captaincy. I think you see from his performances how committed he is and he will always be committed to this club. He doesn't want to move anywhere. I know that. He is very committed to the club. He signed his new long-term contract. Of course, people will talk but he has had that for a number of years now. It's nothing new to him to hear these noises. He concentrates on his job - that's why he is the captain because he is so focused and pushes the group so well. And I don't see that changing at all."
