    SOUNDBITE (English) Arsene Wenger, Arsenal coach: (on the response to Wednesday's Champions League disappointment)

    "I'm very proud of the response we've showed today. The concentration, the defensive concentration was at a much higher level than on Wednesday night. We know with the ball we can do better, but overall what was important for us was to respond with a win. We got it, that means that not everybody can produce that after such a disappointment and it was vital for us to win the game today."

    SOUNDBITE (English) Roberto Martinez, Everton coach: (on the feeling of being frustrated at not getting anything out of the game)

    "Yeah, probably. I think you can look at it from a few points of view. I was frustrated a little bit... I thought we did things really well in the first half, but we didn't carry enough intent in our attack. I think that's something that we do really, really well. I think we are a team that, once we get on the ball, we're always on the front foot and I did feel that we managed the team well in the way that we stopped Arsenal having any sort of threat in possession. We stopped them from having any threat on the counter-attack, which has been one of their biggest threats at home this season..."
