Intro:
England's Andy Sullivan won the Joburg Open by two strokes and secured a place at this year's Open Championship at St. Andrews.
Script:
Wallie Coetsee held a two shot lead going into the final round of the Joburg Open. This was to be his worst day of the tournament though, he did birdie the 18th but a round of 71 would not be good enough.
So who out of the chasing pack could take advantage, just four strokes separated the top 15 players at the start of the day, Anthony
Wall sank this for an eagle on the first but a bogie on the 15th ended his challenge, he finished level with Coetsee in second, along with three others on 15 under.
Jaco van Zyl made six birdies as he went round in 66, a strong challenge from him but he just left himself with too much work to do from the other days.
It was a similar story for Kevin Phelan, he also had a six-under-par round and found himself in the group two off the lead.
David Howell was in a better position coming into the final round but his 69 was also not enough.
In the end it was England's Andy Sullivan who took the title. He made five birdies on a stunning front nine. And recovered from a bogie on the 11th to make two further birdies. It is the second time in as many months that he has won a title in this country, after taking the South African Open a few weeks ago.
