SOUNDBITE (English) MS Dhoni, India captain: (on how India's batsmen are faring at the World Cup, especially Rohit Sharma)

"It's good for every individual to get a few runs and also it was a good wicket, similar to what we played on during the tri-series (with Australia and England). Overall, it was good for everyone. Shikhar (Dharwan) is getting runs, Rohit is amongst the runs, so overall it's looking good for us.
"Every wicket that you take over here will be counted as a World Cup wicket, every run that you score will be counted as a World Cup run. So that was good enough motivation, you know, to come over here and repeat the kind of performances that we've executed in the last few games. So, I think I was happy with the way the individuals turned up and the way we played cricket today."

SOUNDBITE (English) Mohammad Tauqir, United Arab Emirates captain: (on the conditions and dealing with the India bowling attack)

"Oh, I think... yes, it is (one of the) a difficult wicket in the world. It's got a lot of bounce and carry, but I think they outplayed us with their bowling. They bowled in some excellent areas, and we couldn't cope well with that."
(on the performance against India and how UAE have played at the World Cup)
"Look, we've had two good games (against Zimbabwe and Ireland) and probably one off day, which we would like to forget about it and erase this game as soon as possible, and we would like to do well in the next three games."
