"The pressure needs to be maintained so that these venues where the timeline is very tight needs to be maintained so that test events can take place and athletes can compete before the Olympic Games in a good environment. So we still believe that this can happening and this can take place."

SOUNDBITE (English) Christophe Dubi, IOC Executive Director
"A tight delivery timeline is something we have met in the past, including in the most recent games where you know that the train was delivered going from Sochi Adler to the mountain. It was the case as well with the new tram in Athens back in 2004 where the delivery was very tight. However, it was very well run. There are test plans for the delivery of these infrastructures that can be planned in advance and this is what is being done here."

"Last year, a test event took place where a lot of athletes left with the confidence that next year all the promises will be maintained and athletes will compete in a safe environment. 80 percent has been given to us and we hope that this 80 percent will reach that level because this is good for the city, for the athletes as a legacy mode."

"We know that we have found some very good solutions including for the golf where no public water will be used. It will be grey water that is on the site so that's a very good solution. And as far as energy is concerned, we have energy needs for the games and we have discussed the energy situation including in the park, and we have some very good responses that have been brought to ensure that the energy level that will be needed, including in terms of contingency, will be brought."
