SOUNDBITE (English) Angelo Mathews, Sri Lanka captain: (On the injured Jeevan Mendis and replacement Upul Tharanga)
"Upul (Tharanga) will be arriving tonight, but Jeevan (Mendis) will be out for a minimum two or three weeks so he will be out for the series and will be going home after this game. Yes, Upul will be in contention (to play against Bangladesh), but amongst the management and the selectors we will decide if we want to play him or not."

SOUNDBITE (English) Angelo Mathews, Sri Lanka captain: (On his bowling attack)
"These are the guys that we have to be honest and we need to get the maximum out of them. Unfortunately we don't have too many guys that bowl 145 plus, but with the resources we have, we've got to win games."

SOUNDBITE (English) Angelo Mathews, Sri Lanka captain:
    (On upcoming opponents Bangladesh)
"Bangladesh are a very good team. They've got a good set of batsmen, they've got good all rounders, they've got good bowlers. So we can't plan for one particular player. We've got to take all seven or eight batsmen and their bowlers seriously."
