This is turning into some career for 17-year-old Lydia Ko. She was co-leader heading into the final round of the Australian Open and she made an early statement with this eagle on the third.

South Korea's Amy Yang was also in good form, sinking this to go level with Ko on seven under.

Storm clouds stopped play for nearly two hours but it didn't make much difference to Ko as once play resumed she made another birdie on her way to 71 for the day.

Jenny Shin might wonder what could have been, she went round in 69 but a 76 and a 74 on previous days meant she still finished seven shots off the lead.

Julieta Granada made this for birdie on the 12th but she had one of the worst days of the leading pack with a 76.

Joint overnight leader Ariya Jutanugarn also went round in 76 and so fell off the pace.

In the end no one could match Ko, the world number one winning by two stokes. She is the youngest ever winner of the Australian Open.
