We expect if we do the right things at the right time we will get the right result. But we are aware that Bangladesh are a full member side that has played a lot of cricket. We respect them, but we're certainly not scared of them. We're looking forward to the challenge."

(On his team)
"We played against Ireland and Scotland and one thing that showed there was when we do the basics well and we support each other and everybody concentrates on their own individual roles in the team plan we can be successful."

(On what success at the World Cup would mean to Afghanistan)
"It's been well documented the hardships that the players and the general public have at home all over Afghanistan. It's a unifying sport, it's a well received sport amongst the population in Afghanistan ad the players know that through good performances it will be a massive uplift in just the general well-being in the country. I can't stress enough the importance the players feel on their performance will have an uplifting effect on the general public back home in Afghanistan."
