Reaction after the West defeated the East 163-158 in the NBA's All-Star Game on Sunday (February 15th)

    Script:

SOUNDBITE: (English) Russell Westbrook, 2015 NBA All-Star Game MVP

"You never want to take any games for granted. Especially in the all Star Game when you get a chance to go out and show your talents. I'm just blessed to play the game I love and definitely happy we got the win."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Russell Westbrook (who scored 41 points, on being grouped with Michael Jordan who scored 40 points in the 1998 All Star game and Wilt Chamberlain who scored 42 points in the 1962 All Star game)

"I mean it's definitely an honour to be grouped with those two guys and especially in the All Star game and moving forward with our team (Oklahoma City Thunder) we're just going to take it one day at a time and try to get as many wins as possible and try to make the playoffs."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Russell Westbrook (on whether he knew he was close to Wilt Chamberlain's All Star Game point record)

"Somebody told me, but at that time we were just trying to win the game and find a way to close the game out. But I missed about six or seven layups so I definitely could have had it."

    Q. How did you find out about it?

A: "They were talking about it on the bench. honestly I thought I was done for the game when I came out, but then coach (Steve) Kerr put me back in the game."
