Fifth seed Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain took on Czech Republic's Karolina Pliskova for a place in the final of the BNP Paribas in Antwerp.

Their previous two meetings had been fiercely fought three setters - but it was a different story on Saturday.

The Spaniard was dominant right from the start, forcing two breaks of serve from her opponent on her way to taking the first set 6-2.

Pliskova never found her rhythm and made too many unforced errors to ever put pressure on Suarez Navarro.

After just one hour the Spaniard, controlling from the baseline, had secured a 6-2, 6-2 triumph and a place in the final.

Suarez Navarro will take on Andrea Petkovic in the final.
