Hend leads Thailand Classic

Sunday, February 15 2015 by SNTV
  • Intro:

Australian Scott Hend came home in just 32 strokes on the back nine to take the lead going into the final round of the Thailand Classic.

    Script:

Miguel Angel Jimenez led going into the third day of the Thailand Classic at Black Mountain golf club.

And the 51-year-old had another good round here, his approach play at times brilliant as he carded a three under 69.

Former paratrooper Thongchai Jaidee shot a bogie free 67 and to go level with Jimenez at 14 under.

They both trail Australian Scott Hend, what about this from him on the seventh?

That clearly gave him confidence and he made just 32 strokes on the back nine to end the day with a one shot lead.

His big hitting will be tough to match but home supporters will hold hopes that Kiradech Aphibarnrat can hit form at just the right time and close a three-shot gap between him and the lead on Sunday.
