Stan Wawrinka and Milos Raonic beat their non-seeded opponents in the second round of the World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam in the Netherlands on Thursday (12th February).

Stan Wawrinka took to the court against Guillermo Garcia-Lopez looking for a quater final place in the World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam

But if he was going to get there he was going to have to work hard.

Wawrinka yelled for joy several times throughout the match, after dropping the first set.

But Wawrinka proved to be stronger - serving 8 aces and not dropping a double fault in the whole match.

He came back to win 6-7, 6-4, 6-2 against the 31 year old Spaniard.

Milos Raonic also had his difficulties in his match against Simone Bolelli of Italy but the Canadian eventually prevailed.

The key was a fantastic back hand down the line to secure a mini break in the second set.

From there, he won the match and his passage into the next round with a 6-3, 7-6 victory.
