SOUNDBITE: (English) Michael Hoey, Northern Ireland:

"Yeah , I'll take it. I knew the course was scorable because there is not a lot of rough but the wind picks up and it was tricky the last few holes. We probably had about ten or 11 holes with not much wind, which was an advantage of teeing off early. The last few holes were tricky. I putted good and hot the ball good. It suits me that there is a bit of length off the tee and you can carry a few corners and reach the par-fives. So, the golf course did suit me and I saw that in the Pro-Am yesterday."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Alex Noren, Sweden:

"Yeah, which is...I didn't think that before the desert but it obviously feels a lot better when you have a few good runs under your belt and you are just trying to keep on and work with your caddie on all the things that you want to improve and yes. It is a different mindset but still this 'one shot at a time' and all that. You have got to do it on a course like this because here you could get frustrated if you don't make birdies when you have the chances."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Shiv Kapur, India:

"yeah, I think early season rust. I felt like I played really really well last week and just got nothing in terms of results for it and it all comes down to holing a few putts and I got up this morning and holed a few putts early and that kind of set the tone for the rest of the day. So, I am hoping the rust is out of the system and looking forward to the rest of the year."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Miguel Angel Jimenez, Spain:

"Well, it's good because the greens they are fast and the golf course it is not particular difficult from the tee - there is not much rough - but you need to be very precise with the shot to the green. They are big greens with a lot of movement, very fast and if you are complacent on the greens it can be difficult."
