No shocks at the World Tennis Tournaments with second round wins for Andy Murray, Simon and Berdych in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, on Thursday.

    Script:

Top-seed Andy Murray advanced to the quarter-finals of the World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam on Thursday, with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Vasek Pospisil of Canada.

The Australian Open runner-up fought back from a break of serve in the second set and won the last four games.

Pospisil put up a real fight despite losing in straight sets, with Murray finding his form at the crucial moments.

Next up for the British number one is eighth-seed Gilles Simon of France.

Simon beat countryman Jeremy Chardy 6-4, 6-3 to set-up a meeting with Murray.

Although, he's not a man he going to want to face, in career head-to-heads, Simon trails Murray 12-1.

Defending champion Tomas Berdych also progressed, hitting 10 aces in a 6-0, 3-6, 6-3 victory over Andreas Seppi.

The third-seeded Czech will take on Gael Monfils for a spot in the semi-finals.
