"We had a meeting and he was just like, congratulations on the big play and you're going to get the keys to that truck. And I was just like, thank you. Tom's (Brady) a great guy for doing that. I couldn't have done it though without my teammates. So I mean, I'm just thankful for the truck."
But New England didn't clinch the 28-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks until Butler, an undrafted rookie, intercepted a pass at the goal line in the closing minute.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Malcolm Butler, New England Patriots cornerback (On how he felt after the interception)
"I think my feelings were numb. I couldn't feel it. But a couple of days later I woke up and really just thought about what I had done. And I would just put myself in the position if I was a fan and I was watching that game and that happened. So I just put myself in a fans situation."
