Fannemal takes advantage as Freund disqualified

  • Intro:

Anders Fannemel wins the Large Hill event at the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in Titisee-Neustadt in Germany, after Severin Freund is disqualified.

    Script:

Severin Freund was indeed number one here at the FIS World Cup Large Hill in Germany, this jump gave him the lead but he was disqualified shortly after because his skis were too long compared to his body weight.

That would cost him dear in overall points as Roman Koudelka finished third in this event but goes above Freund in the overall standings.

Poland's Kamil Stoch followed a conservative 130 dead in his first jump with 137.5 on his next to finish second.

No one could come close to Norway's Anders Fannemel. He was second only to Freund after his first jump and then he did this on his second run...

A huge leap of 143.5 metres to seal victory and with it move up to sixth in the World Cup standings.
