The third round of the Bahamas LPGA Classic got underway on Saturday at the Ocean Club Golf Course at Paradise Island.

South Korea's Sei Young Kim and Inbee Park, along with Brooke Pancake were tied for the lead at 8-under par going into the third round.

With the competition often affected by troublesome storms, tee times were delayed on day three and play was then suspended again.

Gerina Piller set up a birdie with her approach shot at the 8th to take the outright lead at 10-under. Piller was 3-under for the round with nine holes left on Atlantis Resort course.

Lexi Thompson put together a quartet of birdies between the 15th and 18th to reach 7-under while Sandra Gal's bunker shot led to a birdie at the 4th to move her to 9-under.

Kim, a rookie on the LPGA Tour, nearly holed her second shot from the fairway at the second on her way to a birdie.

Inbee Park and Stacy Lewis, were part of a group at 8-under. Inbee Park had 11 holes left to play, while only had Lewis three.

Just six of the 74 players who made the cut completed the third round before play was suspended.
