SOUNDBITE (English) Eoin Morgan, England captain:

(Question: 'Wondering what your take is on the bat size and the ICC stance on that?')

"I think it's ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. The fact that you can concentrate on the bat size when the rule changes has been made so that you bowl with two new balls - the ball is never any older than 25 overs and you have an extra man in the circle. I think that is a point in itself. The bat size (debate) is ridiculous."

SOUNDBITE (English) Eoin Morgan, England captain:

"Yeah, we are in good shape. We had a very productive month or so, got a lot out of playing good opposition, particularly in the games we have played
against Australia. You know, they've had a run of things over the last three months or so over their summer, playing against them in their conditions has been great practice. And again we've covered more bases, probably more so than I thought we would be in this position given probably about a month ago. Guys have scored runs, guys have put in solid performances and with the ball we have been happy with the majority of the times we have bowled. First 40 overs have been fantastic in most games, our area of concern has been the last ten, then again that has been an area of concern for a long time and is an area of concern for most teams. I think there is a feeling that everybody has come together quite well and sort of grown in strides since we have been together."

    SOUNDBITE (English) Stuart Broad, England:

"Yeah, we have not been on tour for too long, so we didn't need huge amount of refreshing. But I think it was good to get on a plane from Perth heading to Sydney with this being the start of a World Cup campaign. So we managed to obviously learn a lot from the tri-series but sort of put that behind us now and look forward to what is a hugely exciting five-six weeks."
