    Hot on the heels of the Australian Open victory that saw her capture the 19th Grand Slam title of her career, Serena Williams joined her USA teammates in Buenos Aires on Thursday.

    Williams and company - including older sister Venus - will take on the Argentine national side this weekend.

    The 33-year-old trained alongside her sister at the Pilara Tennis Club and showed no signs of any fatique.

    Speaking afterwards to the press, Williams' diverted questions not focusing on the Fed Cup or the USA side as a whole - specifically avoiding comment on her recent and highly-publicised decision to return to the Indian Wells tournament that she'd boycotted for 14 years.

    SOUNDBITE SERENA WILLIAMS: ""Well, my destiny is definitely I hope to play and to compete for the Olympics," Williams said, "but also we are here right now in argentine to play against argentina and want to do the best that we can here and enjoy ourselves and have a great USA team to go all the way."
    Serena's Thirty-four year-old star sister Venus Williams also discussed her focus and desire to perform well while representing the US.

    SOUNDBITE VENUS WILLIAMS: "I love the game and especially my motivation this week is to play well for The Untied States," Williams said. "When people play for their country they play better so I am hoping to have that same spirit on the court and I know the ladies from Argentina will have the same."
    In regards to their future in tennis, the Williams sisters certainly aren't ready to close the door just yet;

    SOUNDBITE SERENA WILLIAMS: "Well, one of our goals is just to continue to be successful and my main goal is to be happy when I play and to be relaxed and just do the best I can," Williams said. "If that means I win that's great and if I lose, as long as I did my best, that's what I want to achieve."

    Serena's win in Melbourne has left her just three title shy of Steffi Graf's record of 22 Grand Slam singles titles.

    So, maybe she'd better get herself a bigger trophy cabinet.
