    SOUNDBITE: (English), Kiradech Aphibarnrat:
"It's been great. I've had a lot of confidence back, striking the ball so good. I tried to lower the ball on the weekend - everything has looked perfect, my swing, working with a new coach and caddy was great. Everything is looking so fine right now."

    SOUNDBITE: (English), David Lipsky:
Question: What do you make of Brooks Koepka winning in the United States and his background in Europe?
"It's amazing. I was friends with Brooks, we played a lot last year - I couldn't be happier for the guy. It just shows how well games can translate between Europe, to Asia and the US."

    SOUNDBITE: (English), Paul McGinley:
"Tough. A bit jet lagged. I had a knee operation in December, so this is my first tournament back. So even playing eighteen holes is a bit of a struggle at the moment - I didn't realise how hilly the golf course is, I haven't played here before. So that's not really helpful for my knee, but it's a great golf course. It's in really good condition, it's tight, it's long. It's really playing long - there is no run on the ball - but it's in really good condition and the greens are excellent too. It's going to be a real challenge, I'm really looking forward to it."

SOUNDBITE: (English), Paul McGinley (on next Ryder Cup captain):
"Well there is five of us making the decision - the three most recent captains, Colin Montgomerie, Jose Maria Olazabal and myself - George O'Grady, chief executive and David Howell who has been nominated by the committee. We'll be meeting in February or maybe even early March and putting our heads together. I see my job really as collecting information - it's one of the things I'll be doing this week as well too and I think it is very important that the captain has the endorsement of the players as well. It's one of the things that has always worked well for us in Europe is that the players have always had a huge say in who the captain is and I see the next decision as no different."
