"It feels really special. I think it makes it really special because this is number 19 for me so passing people like Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert has been great for me. It's been really, really good."

"I didn't want to go out, I just kind of wanted to stay home, but everyone was like 'this is number 19 Serena, you've got to go out. So they literally dragged me out of the bed and we went somewhere for a little bit, but not a lot."

"I really am enjoying my time. I'm at a point in my career where I don't have to win anymore and every win is a super extra bonus and every win is more awesome than the last one. I'm really enjoying that."

"It is a little bit liberating. Getting to 18 was a really big thing for me and I put a lot of pressure on myself to get there, but once I got there I just felt free after it and I've been able to play a little bit better."
