    Script:

The odds were stacked against 10th-placed Oostende on Friday as they travelled to Pro League-leaders Club Brugge.

The away side's task was made even tougher just six minutes in - Knoweldge Musona receiving a straight red card for a sliding challenge on Rudd Vormer.

With their opponents down to ten men, Brugge struck the 13th minute when Obbi Oulare's defence-splitting pass found Colombian forward Jose Izquierdo, who duly rifled the ball past goalkeeper Didier Ovono.

Felipe Gedoz doubled that lead just two minutes into the second half when he volleyed Victor Vazquez's deep cross past a flailing Ovono at his near post.

Brugge continued to pepper the Oostende box, creating numerous chances, but Ovono did well to keep the defecit at two.

The victory extended Club Brugge's lead at the top of the Pro League to eight points, while Oostende remain in tenth place on 28 points.
