SOUNDBITE (English) Byron Scott, Los Angeles Lakers Head Coach:
(On Kobe Bryant overcoming injury).
"You know, with the Achilles last year, everybody said he was done. He came back and I think the first month of the season, he proved to everybody that he still has a lot left in the tank. So, I think he still has that hunger and that competitive nature to come out and prove it again. But, obviously after the surgery, I'll talk to him again and see how it is. I'll probably call him today as well because I told him I would. We'll talk and we'll go from there."
SOUNDBITE (English) Carlos Boozer, Los Angeles Lakers Forward:
(On Kobe Bryant overcoming injury).
"I feel bad for him. He's is a warrior, man. And he's been through a lot these last two or three years. I feel bad for him. But like I said, Kobe (Bryant) is a warrior. He'll come back stronger and he'll attack his rehab (rehabilitation) like he always does and he'll be ready for whatever is ahead of him."
SOUNDBITE (English) Byron Scott, Los Angeles Lakers Head Coach:
(On Kobe Bryant's future).
"I don't see Kobe (Bryant) as the type of guy that wants to leave his legacy on this terms. I think he wants to go out on his own terms. So, we'll just have to wait and see."
