Intro:
Madison Keys says she can win the women's singles after reaching her first Grand Slam quarter-final.
Script:
American Madison Keys knocked compatriot Madison Brengle out of the Australian Open in the fourth round on Sunday in what's been a crazy few days for her
SOUNDBITE: (English) Madison Keys, Beat Madison Brengle:
"Yeah, I mean, there's definitely the high of winning and beating (Petra) Kvitova and everything, and then having to kind of refocus, regroup, and go into another match, a match where, I was a higher-ranked player, I should have won. So, it was a different pressure and it was different nerves, but, I think I managed pretty well."
19-year-old Keys - now coached by three-time Major winner Lindsay Davenport - dominated the match, hitting 38 winners on her way to a 6-2 6-4 victory.
She's now through to the first Grand Slam quarter final of her career - but that hasn't phased her
SOUNDBITE: (English) Madison Keys, Beat Madison Brengle:
"I'm just really excited. I think.... it's a huge opportunity for me. I haven't been in this situation before and I'm going to make the most of it, but at the same time no matter what, I'm not really going to be satisfied with any win. I want to be at the end of the tournament holding the trophy up, and that's my goal in the long run. So I am very happy that I'm in the quarter-finals, but, I'm really just looking forward to the next match."
Keys goes on to play Venus Williams in the quarter-finals
