The fourth round action from the Australian Open continued on Monday with Victoria Azarenka facing Dominika Cibulkova in what's been called the women's match of the tournament so far.

Azarenka - stole an early march, breaking her opponent in a lengthy seven minute opening game.

But after trailing 2-0 Cibulkova won six straight games, exposing Azarenka's poor movement around court and more than matching her for pace and power.

She duly closed out the opening set in emphatic style, 6-2, after 35 minutes on court.

The second set was very much about Azarenka.

Again she claimed an early 2-0 lead, but this time she was able to push on and after snatching a second break of serve, closed out the set, taking it 6-3.
Incredibly, Azarenka led the third set 2-0.

But she was broken straight back by an inspired Cibulkova, who hit a total of 44 winners over the course of the match.

The decisive break though came in the seventh game of the set when Cibulkova broke again to lead 4-3 then 5-3.

Azarenka was unable to force her way back from there, and the 11th seed took an impressive 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 victory for a place in the last eight.
