Bolton Wanderers manager Neil Lennon commented on their goalless FA Cup fourth round draw with Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday (24 January) which will be replayed on 3 February.

"Yes, my heart was in my mouth the last ten minutes. We were running on fumes in terms of (Eidur) Gudjohnsen doing 90 minutes, it's not ideal at his age (36) against the pace of opposition and quality of opposition. But it was needs must today. We had a fantastic performance from our goalkeeper (Adam Bogdan) which is what you need when you come away from home and play the quality of opposition that we have played today. The scoreline would say, maybe on the outside, that Liverpool didn't play well, but they played very well. We were resolute, we were disciplined, and we created a couple of our own chances as well. So to come away from here, having watched Liverpool (1-1 against Chelsea in League Cup semi-final first leg) on Tuesday (20 January) night playing exceptional football, to come away with a draw and take them back to Bolton, is more than I could have asked really."

"Yes, but you want to be part of it then, you don't want to be out of the Cup, you want to make your own headlines. Bolton, for the last couple of years, it's not been great, so you could see what it meant to the supporters today, you could see how much the players were playing for the club, and their mental strength really pleased me as well, their concentration levels, their bravery at times, curtailing or trying to curtail one of the best attacking teams in the country."
