    Sixth-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska moved into the fourth round of the Australian Open on Saturday (24th January) with a 6-0, 7-5 win over Uzbekistan-born American Varvara Lepchenko. Venus Williams and Garbine Muguruza also progressed.

    Serena Williams fought back to defeat Elina Svitolina on Saturday (24th January) in a third round match in the Australian Open.

    Dominika Cibulkova also progressed.

    Victoria Azarenka moved into the fourth round of the Australian Open on Saturday (24th January) with a straight sets win over Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.

    Melbourne Park was bathed by another day of glorious sunshine and warm weather.

    On the court, top ranked Serena Williams made a lacklustre start to her third-round encounter against 26th seed Elina Svitolina.

    The Ukrainian producing a show for the Rod Laver crowd with some brilliant winners.

    Nevertheless, Williams found another gear as some powerful winners helped her take the second set 6-2 before romping hom in the third and final 6-0.

    The American can now look forward to fourth round tie with Spain's Garbine Muguruza after she overcame Swiss Timea Bacsinszky 6-3 4-6 6-0.

    Elsewhere, Agnieszka Radwanska breezed past Vavara Lepchenko to set up a fourth round tie with Venus Williams.

    The American was made to fight in her match against fiesty Italian Camilla Giorgi.

    She lost the first set 6-4 but dug deep to edge the second on a tie break.

    Giorgi was unable to come back in the decisive third and eventually lost it 6-1but will take heart from her performance.

    Finally, 2014 finalist Dominika Cibulkova put on an impressive display against France's Alizee Cornet.

    The 11th seed wining in straight sets 7-5 6-2 and will now go up against two-time champion Victoria Azarenka who continued her comeback with a 6-4, 6-4 win over No. 25 Barbora Zahlavova Strycova
