    Defending champion Stan Wawrinka moved into the fourth round on Saturday (24th January) with a 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 win over Jarkko Nieminen in the third.

    Feliciano Lopez, Milos Raonic and Madison Brengle also went through.

    Defending champion Stanislas Wawrinka continued his march with a straight sets victory over Jarkko Nieminen.

    The Swiss player wowed the Rod Laver crowd with some wonderful backhand shots as he powered past his Finnish opponent 6-4 6-2 6-4.

    Wawrinka is hoping to secure a second Australian Open and grand slam crown and can now focus on his next round tie against Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.

    Meanwhile, eighth seed Milos Raonic is also through to the fourth round for a fourth consecutive Grand Slam tournament.

    He fired 22 aces in a 6-4 6-3 6-3 win over Benjamin Becker of Germany. He will now go up against 12th seed Feliciano Lopez.

    The Spaniard also enjoyed a faily comfortable path to the fourth round with a straight sets victory 7-6 6-4 7-6 over Jerzy Janowicz of Poland.
