SOUNDBITE: Mark Hughes, Stoke City manager
"Throughout my career as a manager, I've always paid the competition the respect it deserves. I've always gone strong in terms of the selection of the teams I've put out against whoever we've played. Even in the last round against Wrexham, a non-league team, we still were very strong. We had something like 10 internationals on the field of play so we want to progress. We view it, as you've mentioned...it's a trophy realistically we have an opportunity to win. You need a little bit of luck, which you have to have in terms of opposition and even the games themselves. You can do everything right in sport and sometimes you'll hit somebody on the backside and you lose. And that can happen certainly against lower league opposition. Rochdale are a good team, doing well at the moment and playing well and are well thought of at their level so it's not going to be easy. But we're looking forward to it. It's a competition that we've prioritised this year, that we want to do well in. We had a decent draw in the third round, fourth round on paper looks a decent draw for us as well but we have to get the job done and that's our intention, that's our hope."
