New York star Carmelo Anthony met Prince Harry on Wednesday (14th January) ahead of the Knicks' game against the Milwaukee Bucks in London.

On the eve of the New York's meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks in London, Knicks star Carmelo Anthony attended a reception at St. James Palace, where he met Prince Harry.

Anthony joined the Prince of Wales, to hand out awards to members of the Coach Core programme, an apprentice scheme run by the Royal Foundation for jobless youngsters.

The programme was estbalished in 2009 by Prince Harry, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, who is a patron to the foundation.

Anthony later presented Prince Harry with a basketball shirt and a size 15 basketball shoe and described meeting the Prince as an honour.

The Knicks star has been out injured for two weeks, but is expecting to make his return for the game in London, and will now prepare with his team for the game on the 15th January.
