"My off-season was great, I really worked hard, I was still healthy and able to handle the work, and I'm just glad that I did how I did. And hopefully it will pay off at the tournaments."

Petra Kvitova SOUNDBITE:

"It's always great to finish a season the way I did, we won a Fed Cup the last week of the year, so it's always great to have a title again. My second part of the year was really great, so I hope it can continue like that, I think it's always important to have a good result to build up the confidence and everything like that, so I have a joy on the tennis what I have, so that's important."

Petra Kvitova SOUNDBITE:

"Well luckily I think I'm not the kind of player who has to hit everyday, it's not really a matter for me if I don't hit for two or three days, I'm still able to hit afterwards. But of course we're still doing some fitness, some running, exercises, so we're still working hard, but not on the tennis court."
