While Tina Maze is well out in front of the women's overall World Cup standings, there's a fight on behind her.

Austrian Kathrin Zettel is one of those having a good season, Zettel having finished on the podium three times already this season.

The Austrian came down the slopes here in Zagreb. in a time of 1.58.34 which gave her a final round lead & in line for her first win of the season.

American Mikaela Shiffrin won the first event of the ski season and is one of those pushing for an overall podium finish.

Shiffrin also came into this event off the back of the final win of 2014 & the American continued her form.

At the final checkpoint, she led Zettel by over 0.8 of second and was never letting such a lead slip as she came through to win.

With 319 points on the slalom leader board, Shiffrin moves to within a point of Hansdotte at the top.

Shiffrin is also second in the overall standings, but her 545 points are dwarfed by Tina Maze's 777.
