SOUNDBITE (English) Roger Federer, former world number one, on his Grand Slam chances in 2015.
"Yeah I mean that's the big hope I have because overall it was a great season for me. I was consistent, I was playing attacking, positive tennis, the way I want to play and I gave myself chances at quite a few of the Slams, US Open, Wimbledon and the Australian Open. So I hope that this year I can go that one step further because being close is not quite good enough but overall it was a good season besides the Slams, the Slams were not bad but a good year in Slams needs to be a victory as well I guess."
SOUNDBITE (English) Roger Federer, former world number one, on what he learnt in 2014.
"The attacking style is possible in the right places and if you play the right way. I actually, at my age can play a full schedule and plus. I played the most matches on tour out of anybody or won most matches, I'm not sure what it was anymore but that that was possible at 33 was great. And that throughout the clay, the grass courts the indoors I didn't hold back, so i got a lot of positive information out of it and that I could bounce back from 2013 which was a tough year for me. Just that it was hard then doesn't mean you can't play properly or you have to be careful. So I went out and I had some rough weeks, rough months because I was playing much and I made it through which is great."
