SOUNDBITE: (English) Alan Irvine, West Brom manager (on performances and points):

"I think I'd take a scrappy win every week and then start getting fussy about the performance. I don't know too many managers who wouldn't say the same thing. Because in the end it's about getting those points."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Alan Irvine, West Brom manager (on facing EPL champions Manchester City):

"It's a really good game for us. It's fantastic to have them coming. They're a top team, obviously. A lot was being made about the fact that they didn't have any strikers for the game against Crystal Palace and they won 3-0 so it just shows the quality of the players they've got in the squad. If you've got players of that level who pass and move and who have great awareness and great positional sense then you can create chances. And they certainly did that against a very resolute Crystal Palace team for a lot of the game."
