    8pm on the 20th December.

That's the date that Malaysia are preparing for; the second leg of the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup final.

They'll need to produce something extraordinary if they are to overturn a 2-0 opening leg loss to their opponents Thailand in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia last won the Suzuki Cup title in 2010, if they can overturn the deficit it will be the second time they've won the competition in their history.

After the first leg defeat, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak told the national news agency Bernama that he was hoping for miracle and the team could bounce back.

Head coach Dollah Salleh's players are no strangers to pressure matches at this year's Suzuki Cup, having avoided elimination twice.

They recovered from a 2-1 semi-final opening loss at home to Vietnam with a stunning 4-2 win in that secured their place in the final.

Malaysia also lost to Thailand in the group stages; a 3-2 defeat that time.

They'll be hoping it's third time lucky on December 20th.
