    Script:

San Lorenzo will face Real Madrid in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup after a narrow 2-1 win over Auckland City on Wednesday night.

The South American champions struck first in first-half stoppage time.

Emanuel Mas picked out Pablo Barrientos unmarked inside the area, where the 29-year-old found the back of the net.

Angel Berlanga levelled the scoring in the second half. A fluid attack from the Oceania champions finished off neatly by Berlanga from a tight angle.

Striker Martin Cauteruccio could have won it for San Lorenzo in normal time, but his volley cannoned back of the post in the 76th minute with goalkeeper Tamati Williams beaten.

The South Americans got their winner in extra time when substitute Mauro Matos converted in the 93rd minute. His strike too powerful for Sebastián Torrico.

Auckland were denied a second equaliser in the 113th minute when Tim Payne's effort struck the post.

But that was as close as they came to a comeback, and the final whistle blew 8 minutes later at San Lorenzo 2, Auckland City 1.
