Intro:
Australia, who are without their captain Michael Clarke, trained on Tuesday (16th December) ahead of the second test against India in Brisbane on Wednesday (17th December).
Script:
Australia have appointed their youngest captain for 30 years following injury to Michael Clarke,
25-year-old, Steve Smith, was the surprise selection ahead of Brad Haddin, the experienced vice-captain for the Second Test with India.
Just 18 months ago Smith was selected for an Ashes Tour to lighten the mood with his good humour, yet the all rounder's position is now no laughing matter.
There are three personnel changes for the Baggy Greens ahead of Wednesday's Brisbane test.
Shaun Marsh is one of those who comes into the team, in place of Michael Clarke.
And the batsmen believes, he won't have many more chances to stake a claim for a test place.
SOUNDBITE (English) Shaun Marsh, Australian batsman:
"Obviously disappointing for Pup. You know he is a fantastic player, he is probably our best player. I guess it creates an opportunity for me and I am, I'm just going to grab it now. I am at an age where the opportunities won't come around very often and I am going to make the most of it."
And with younger brother, Mitchell playing, it will be the first time the Marsh brothers have played together for their country...
SOUNDBITE (English) Shaun Marsh, Australian batsman:
"Obviously very excited. We had a pretty good chat yesterday about it all. We are just looking forward to get out there and playing for our country in Test Cricket."
