    SOUNDBITE: (English), Alan Pardew:

"I don't think there will be any problem in the quarter final of the League Cup for the atmosphere. It'll be a cracking game I think because the two teams sort of - they are very different. One plays quite narrow, one plays quite wide. You'll have to work that out yourself and we will see which one goes forward."

    SOUNDBITE: (English), Alan Pardew:

"We just want to win. We just want to keep the momentum and the good feeling going with our fans and hopefully somewhere along the line put some silverware for this magnificent club. But you know, that's an old story that one."

SOUNDBITE: (English), Alan Pardew (on whether team selection is more difficult with League Cup and derby clash with Sunderland):

"Not really. We have a really big week in front of us in terms of two great games and we are going to try and win them both and we have got a bit of a cushion between the two games, so that helps."

SOUNDBITE: (English), Alan Pardew (on recovery and return of Jonas Gutierrez):

"Jonas is one of those people that livens up the training ground just by his personality. But of course, with his illness and everything else it has been magnified so really pleased to have him back. He is finding his feet a little bit, he hasn't been around the ball much but he is in pretty good shape. So we hope that in two or three weeks he can be back in and around it."
