McLaren Honda have announced that Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button will be their Formula One drivers for the 2015 season, With Kevin Magnussen demoted to reserve.
2014 McLaren drivers Button and Kevin Magnussen had been waiting for their futures to be decided since November's final race of the season in Abu Dhabi.

"We are 25 years on from the great battles of Aryton (Senna) and Alain (Prost) within a team. We have all the experience of what went on there and us to have a lot of experience between us, 500 Gran Prix. So you live and you learn. Personally I feel that we bring a lot to this team working together. We are both very grown up and intelligent enough to understand that we have to work closely together and you do your talking out on the circuit. That's the way it has to be. We both understand that, we are very transparent and we have to be throughout the time we spend together in this team.
For Magnussen, who only made his formula one debut last season, the Dane said he is determined to race again as soon as possible.

"I don't really have a time frame. We'll see what happens. First of all I'm here with this team and I have a job here. I'd like to be racing something and nothing is certain yet. We will see. It will take a couple weeks before we look into that."

The new season will start on the 15th March.
