SOUNDBITE (English) Thomas Bach, IOC president:
(on Kosovo and the Serbian Olympic Committee reaction)

"First of all, there was no formal protest. We have been in consultation with the Serbian National Olympic Committee all the time and with other concerned countries and the Serbian NOC and the president (Vlade Divac) expressed that he's not happy with the decision, but that he accepts it in the interest of the athletes and this gives me the opportunity to thank Mr. Divac, the president of the Seriban NOC, who are already in Bangkok, publicly, for this really true sportsmanship."
