SOUNDBITE: (English) Ishant Sharma, India bowler:

"I think we are professional cricketers. We have to move on. Whatever has happened was really bad and everyone was really shocked when we got to hear these things. But as I said, we are professional cricketers. We need to look forward, what's coming next for us and that's what we do."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Rohit Sharma, India stand-in captain:

"It was a very sad incident, we all know about it, but as Ishant said, cricket has to go on, the game will go on. Mentally, everyone is focused to do well. When you go out on the park, the only thing is about how to perform and give your best. That incident of Phil Hughes will definitely be in everyone's minds, but when it comes to this game, we all be focused on how to do well and get the best result."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Rohit Sharma, India stand-in captain:

"We've stayed here for the past two weeks and we had a good centre wicket practise as well. So that will help us in getting to know the conditions better. In the past also, you will see we have performed well at Adelaide. I think Adelaide will be a good start and hopefully we can carry the momentum into the next Test matches as well."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Suresh Raina, India batsman:

"I think, when I last played a Test match in 2012, so this is almost two years for making into the team again. So I'm really, really looking forward to it and I've worked really hard on my batting. (I'm) batting really well at the moment, so I'm really, really excited for this Test series."
