SOUNDBITE: (English) Craig Reedie, President of the World Anti-Doping Agency (on the reaction of the IOC Executive Board to the allegations against Russian athletes):

"There's complete concern - we're all sports officials. People have given their lives to sport and we have Olympic champions around the table. We don't like this thing happening and we wish it hadn't. I think there is a real wish and hope that the relevant bodies will deal with it as quickly as possible."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Craig Reedie, President of the World Anti-Doping Agency:

"Well I watched the programme and some of the information that appeared in it has appeared before. We haven't verified the accusations that have been made, there is a process in place to deal with this and the correct place is the ethics commission of the international athletics federation and that's where it now lies."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Craig Reedie, President of the World Anti-Doping Agency:

"Yes, the responsible body to deal with this is clearly the international federation (International Associations of Athletics Federations, IAAF) and they have established a very reputable, independent ethics commission and that's where information lies and that's where the first resolution will come from. I just hope they can manage that as quickly as possible because quite clearly people want action."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Craig Reedie, President of the World Anti-Doping Agency:

We are not as an institution given powers to individually discipline athletes or individually discipline organisations. All we will be able to do is declare them non-compliant but my feeling quite clearly is that the strength of reaction is that stakeholders will be prepared to act on a declaration of non-compliance."
