    IOC President Thomas Bach said on Saturday that if doping allegations among Russian athletes were proved to be true "the IOC will react with its zero tolerance policy".

    "The responsibility of the IOC is also to respect the rule of law, to respect the right for every person to defend him or herself and therefore we are respecting this inquiry., this procedure going on by the IAAF and we will not neither interfere nor comment on an ongoing procedure. But we have made it very clear in a letter to the Inquiry Commission of the IAAF that we want to be informed about all the results which may affect people under the jurisdiction of the IOC and this does not only mean athletes, this also means officials, doctors and others. And if such allegations should be proven by the IAAF Ethics Commission, the IOC will react with its zero tolerance policy."
