Three-time major winner Padraig Harrington has a five-shot lead at the top as the third round of Indonesian Open was suspended after heavy rain and lightning struck at the Damai Indah Golf Club in Jakarta.

Three-time major winner Padraig Harrington started the third round of the Indonesian Open as joint leader on Saturday.

While Harrington set his sights on a tournament victory, the battle for the Asian Tour Order of Merit got exciting as challenger Anirban Lahiri of India and current leader, David Lipsky went head to head.

Lahiri matched the American Lipsky at seven-under overall with a birdie on the 18th hole.

Both Lahiri and Lipsky are tied for sixth and will hope to move up the leaderboard on Sunday.

Quincy Quek of Singapore is also tied for sixth after being on seven-under through 17 holes.

Quek missed an eagle putt on the 13th but would tap in for a birdie to move to nine-under.

But two consecutive bogeys would peg him back to seven-under.

Overnight co-leader Thanyakon Krongpha struggled through his third round, making bogeys on the second and fourth holes.

The Thai is two-over-par after 13 holes and 10-under overall - six shots off the pace.

Asian Tour rookie Nathan Holman of Australia shot a brilliant 63 in the second round to move to third at the start of day three.

He set up his second birdie of the third round on the 13th with a chip to move to 11-under before play was suspended.

Padraig Harrington fired six straight pars in his remaining six holes in the second round.

Starting as a co-leader, the Irishman made a birdie-birdie start to the third round.

As his rivals struggled, Harrington made two more birdies to move to 16-under overall after 13 holes in the third round.

The third round will be completed early on Sunday before the start of the final round.
